Pultruded Grating

Pultruded Grating is used in flooring installations where exceptional load bearing is required and where larger uninterrupted spans need to be bridged. The construction of Pultruded Grating uses pultruded “I” or “T” fibreglass sections linked by Phenolic Pultruded Solid Rods equally spaced between the “I” or “T” section bars. Pultruded Grating is available in thicknesses of 25mm – 38mm – 50mm – 60mm – 75mm and 100mm. The “I” or “T” section bars can be spaced to provide varying “open” areas to suit specification.

Pultruded Fibreglass Grating & Pultruded GRP Grating

Pultruded Fibreglass Grating can be produced with an Angular Quartz grit integrally bonded to the top walking surface. This produces an extremely long lasting, hardwiring surface. Pultruded GRP Grating Anti-Slip Texture has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface. This makes Pultruded Fibreglass Grating the ideal choice where Health and Safety in the workplace is paramount. The material provides excellent chemical resistance, is maintenance free, easy to install, and offers long term durability.

Pultruded Grating Anti-Slip Surface

On Pultruded grating Angular Quartz is integrally bonded to the top surface, which produces an extremely long-lasting hardwearing surface. This gritted anti-slip texture has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface.

British Standard Test Results

The BS4592 test was devised to test and assess the slip resistance of industrial type flooring intended for use in water and wet areas. A co-efficient of friction (CoF) is calculated by determining the mean angle of inclination that an operator can safely maintain when the flooring is subjected to a continuous stream of water.

In addition to improving safety standards Pultruded grating provides excellent chemical resistance is easy to install and offers long term durability. The gritted anti-slip surface has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface. Consideration should be given to installing Gratings, GRP Gratings, Mesh Flooring, Pultrusions, Pultruded Grating, Reinforced Plastics Grates, Reinforced Plastics Gully Covers, Glassfibre Construction Grating, Glassfibre Drain Covers, FRP Stair Tread and FRP Railings.

Pultruded grating is ideally suited for Wash Down Areas, Ramps, Slip Resistance, Wash Bays, Pultruded Profiles, Health and Safety Flooring and Chemical Storage Areas.
